current message series BTG

Our current message series is a “take off’ on the title of this blog. Bridges have a specific purpose, to cross over a gap or obstacle. Those include; rivers, railroad tracks & highways just to name a few. Bridges provide safe passage over obstacles/gaps so we can overcome them & continue on our travels.

In this series, “Bridging the Gap” we find Jesus providing safe passage for people who are facing obstacles that need overcoming, gaps that need bridged. Some of these gaps include…unbelief & forgiveness. What is the one thing we must remember while bridging the gap of…
unbelief… “for those who dare to believe in Jesus, the sky is the limit!
and….
forgiveness… “flows from the cross through us towards others!

This Sunday @ 10am we’ll be Bridging the Gap of…loneliness. Rachel Dwire will tell us how God bridged the gap in her own life. The pic to the right is Rachel, husband Tony & their son Trey. Pictured behind them is…you guessed it…a bridge!

What is the one thing we must remember while bridging the gap of loneliness?
To find out, you’ll just have to come to BridgePoint on Sunday morning!

Isn't it good to know Jesus is in your corner!

This past Sunday not only did we launch BridgePoint Church, we also launched a message series entitled, “Bridging the Gap.” Jesus has a way of bridging the gaps in our lives. The Bible is filled with passages where we see Jesus bridging such gaps as unbelief, forgiveness, loneliness, pain & past mistakes.

Over the next several weeks we will also hear stories of changed lives. Real accounts of how Jesus bridges the gaps in peoples lives today.

Last week we heard from Paul Pindroh, a boxer who trains out of the James 5:16 Center. Paul had a huge gap in his life that only Jesus was able to bridge. Paul now gives glory to God through his boxing. The pic to the right is Paul between rounds with his trainer in his corner, Jim Kobert. Jim owns & operates the James 5:16 Center. Thanks Jim for hosting BridgePoint every Sunday! Check out their web site; www.james516center.org.

This week we will hear from Rick Balbo, former bodybuilder, promoter & native of Lower Burrell. The pic at the right is Rick in top shape! Check Rick out at

You don't want to miss BridgePoint this Easter Sunday. Isn’t it great to know that Jesus bridges the gaps of our lives & is in our corner!

...amazing things...

What an AMAZING day!! BridgePoint's grand opening was great! We had approximately 130 people with about 20 new and returning visitors! Awesome!! Thanks to friends and family who supported us by coming out. Thanks to our launch team for all of your hard work and faithfulness-you guys are the best! Thanks to all from APC and all the MCM churches who have been praying (please don't stop!). But most of all, we thank God and give Him all the glory!! It is His (and our) desire to reach Tarentum and the Allegheny Valley and we're off to a great start. We had our last Sun Eve mtg. where several of us shared stories about people they spoke with in the service- God is already moving in people's hearts - we can harldy contain our excitement and look with great anticipation to what the Lord has in store for BridgePoint Church - Joshua 3:5 says, "Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you." WHOA- hold on because tomorrow is coming !!

BTW: Check out the Valley News Dispatch, Monday March 17th , www.pittsburghlive.com/x/valleynewsdispatch/ for an article on the grand opening
