NFL draft this weekend

This weekend is the NFL Draft. Who should the Steelers take?

With this question in mind many have wondered why in 1983 the Steelers did not take South Oakland born & bred Danny Marino. I also grew up in South Oakland & Danny was 3 years ahead of me in Grade school & High school. Here is a pic of Danny from the 1972 St. Regis Grade school football team.

Check Out the MCM Ministry School Pittsburgh on May 8th!

BridgePoint Church is a part of the MCM Pittsburgh Network of Churches. It might surprise you to know that MCM also has a ministry school based out of Allison Park Church in the North Hills. In July Pastor Cullen Allen, Director of the School, will be with us to share the Vision. Below is a bio of what the MCM Ministry school is all about. They are currently taking applications.

The MCM Ministry School is designed to provide a prospective student not only with classroom training but with real life experiences in ministry. Every day we involve students in our PRAYER SCHOOL. Once a week, we engage in PRACTICAL COMMUNITY OUTREACH in connection with one of eight churches that have been planted in Pittsburgh. Once a year, the students participate in an INTERNATIONAL TRIP to work in partnership with Mission SOS in a Signs and Wonders Festival among UNREACHED PEOPLE'S GROUPS.

The passion of the MCM Ministry School is to raise up faith-filled adventurers who are committed to living out the supernatural lifestyle of the book of Acts. The practical experiences come in the context of a growing church that is actively planting churches and sending teams to reach unreached people groups.

APC Choir @ BridgePoint This Sunday!

This Sunday, April 26th at 10am BPC will be hosting the Allison Park Church Choir! Kate Griffin does a fantastic job directing the choir & they will be joining our worship team leading us in uplifting praise & worship.
