Week #1 was last Sunday & we hosted our 2nd annual Easter Bash & Egg Hunt during our 10am service. A little over 100 people attended & we saw quite a few 1st time guests. In Jr Church the kids had a great time playing carnival games & heard a fun Bible story by Miss Karen & her Jr Church team. (Who by the way are awesome High School Students!) For the adults I continued in our current series “The 4 Pillars of the Church” with a message entitled “Meeting Human Need” explaining that the most beautiful feature about Jesus wasn’t found in His face but in the way He met human need through seeking & saving as well as being the servant of all. During the altar time a few people decided to give their lives to Christ which is always AMAZING! We also gave away a $50 gift card to the Olive Garden. After the service we joined the kids in the lower level for a free luncheon. After lunch we held an Easter Egg Hunt in the sanctuary for preschool & elementary children. You should have seen the looks on those kids faces as they left with their bags filled with candy. Thanks so much to everyone who helped our during the Easter Bash & Egg Hunt and thanks a lot to everyone who brought something to share for the luncheon, you guys are THE BEST!
Week #2 is coming up this Palm Sunday & it will be just as exciting as last Sunday. We’ll be celebrating our 2 year anniversary of “Connecting Real People to the Real God” in Tarentum & the Allegheny Valley. There will be kickin’ music, a few multimedia presentations ( like the one below), a real story from a couple who’ve been impacted by the life changing power of God & we’ll honor another great couple who helped start BPC back in 2007. I’ll be concluding “The 4 pillars…” series with a message entitled, “The Key to God’s Family.” We’ll then head to the lower level to celebrate with Cake & Ice Cream for everyone.
On Good Friday at 7pm we’ll have a FREE showing of the movie “The Passion of the Christ” on the BIG screen. Every time I see that movie it makes me so grateful for all that Jesus did for us!

Week #3 kicks off with Easter Sunday on April 4th and we would love for everyone to join us for a 1 hour service celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We’ll have a special song presentation & I’ll be starting a new message series based on the life of Joseph entitled “How to Keep From Going the Wrong Way.” We’ll also have communion together. In Jr Church we'll be giving away 2 Easter Baskets, 1 for a girl & 1 for a boy. If you’re looking for somewhere to go on Easter Sunday, bring the kids cuz BPC is the place for you!
