On this Mother’s Day 2011 we examined Exodus chapters 1 & 2 where we read of a tale of 2 Moms who were from opposite ends of culture and social class - a slave Jochebed and a Princess the daughter of Pharaoh. Not only did they share a common son but also 2 qualities that describes Mom’s to a “T”; Determination and Ingenuity.Godly determination and ingenuity when filtered thru the Holy Spirit are imparted by God to help us stay in our “seats’ during life’s Roller Coaster rides so we can not only chase after the dreams He has for us but we can also reach them!
