Whether you know it or not; as believers in Jesus Christ there’s a battle for our souls & as Christ followers realize the enemy will stop at nothing to tear us apart even using our personal words to do it. Instead of inspiring one another on as we follow Christ the devil will tempt husbands & wives, couples, parents & children, relatives, neighbors & friends to speak personal words that not only ooze with emotion but cut very deeply escalating conflict & pain so, in order to avoid that we gotta be Christ centered & under the control of the HS which will bring God’s blessing into our lives!Before speaking we should ask ourselves; Is what we’re about to say…
True…Kind…Necessary? 1Peter 3:8-13 gives us the motivation to think before we speak personal words. You see, we are not called to do harm to others but to do good, not to curse but to bless and God rewards this type of behavior with blessing. There aren't any souls. If Christianity were invented today, it would be debunked on Snopes.com tomorrow, rarely to be heard from again, but definitely not used as justification for murder, child abuse and slavery.
